Exhibition space in the barn – Helgerud Farm

Dreaming of showcasing artworks in a unique and inspiring setting? Helgerud Farm invites applications for exhibition space in the barn. The venue is looking for artists who value good communication and fruitful collaboration.

About the exhibition space: The barn at Helgerud Farm offers an impressive exhibition hall of over 250 square meters on the ground floor, perfect for presenting a wide range of artistic expressions. The space allows art to breathe and gives visitors a unique experience. The second floor houses a spacious studio of approximately 80 square meters. Available exhibition periods in 2026:

• 15 April – 3 May
• 10 May – 31 May
• 6 June – 30 June during Kulturloppis
• 16 August – 6 September
• 13 September – 4 October
• 11 October – 8 November

Exhibition periods in 2027 are agreed individually.

About the gallerist: The person responsible for this Open Call is Xia Hua, an experienced artist and gallerist. Xia Hua previously ran GalleriF48 in Oslo (2017–2023) and now has a studio in the barn at Helgerud gård. With this background and expertise, Xia Hua will ensure a strong framework for the exhibition.
